Truly interesting read and well worth your time

I found this very disturbing and it took 2 reads. This is a vision of the US Republic in spiritual war. Clay Martin is a good writer - there is a plainness and directness combined with intelligence. The book needs editing in parts but for me that in no way undercuts the story. It is uncommon to see scifi/ fantasy in such a clear and natural way - and maybe seeing this in terms of such genres is a mistake.

Strongly recommend this book. Once I started I could not put it down. Clay knows how to tell a story. If anything you've seen on cable news has rubbed you the wrong way over the last 4 years then this is mandatory reading.

It's rare, and I mean exceedingly rare, that a book hooks me to keep reading past the first chapter. I bore easily, get disinterested in what's going on or have no vested interest in the character development if it's even there. Not so with WOTW. I was hooked, and I mean HOOKED, from start to finish. I started it on a Friday evening and finished it by lunch Saturday. Could. Not. Put. It. Down. Mr. Martin's enjoyable writing style and pacing centered around a possible future of our all too present clownworld made for an incredible story of heroism, love of family and above all, hope for the future.
