Barbarian Spirit autographed book

I originally read the book on Kindle and decided to get autographed copies for myself and a friend. Why? Aside from being one of those "what comes next" accounts, it inspired me and gave me a push to do better. I suppose I knew what I needed to do all along, it just was I could never find the right motivation. I grew up a bright kid in Appalachia lite, hunting and fishing, volunteering as a fireman, and things like that, and ended up successful in a lot of ways. I worked myself through college and became a dutiful office drone. I accomplished this while being overweight and out of shape my whole life. First is the practical sense that with age I wasn't going to keep being able to get away with that, but I never got the motivation to change till now. I can't find the words why, so I will just say you do not have to take the book in a literal sense like "be this." It just washed over me and gave me that little bit of purpose and fortitude I needed. Now working out is just something I do and have had some success with.
I know it may sound corny or even unbelievable, but after I read the book a thought popped into my head: you come from a long history of warriors. Act like it.

Clay delivers the goods again!

Haven't started chapter 5 yet, but from what I've read this book speaks to my soul.

I read it in a single sitting. Great story about the future of humanity and how to best prepare for it that is told through the eyes of a former marine/green baret in a mind altered state.
